our heritage

who we are & how we dance

Superstitious, rough-loving, loud and raucous..the Balkan people share many customs, primarily their food culture and their love of a party!

The Balkans refers to a geographical area in south east Europe, encompassing the countries of Albania, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia.

Whether its fending off bad spirits through a hanging glass eye, proudly home-brewing rakija in the back shed, or pickling anything they can, there is a lot the people hailing from these lands have in common.

The Balkan food experience is one delicious journey, from peppers, to grilled meat, via pickled salads and sweet treats. We at the Balkan Butler are experts when it comes to providing an authentic Balkan feast for all occasions.
